Safiatu Designs has been traveling the globe, searching for unique designs and elements to add to this natural collection. I combine these treasures with silver for its clean elegance and healing properties.
I am now using exclusively: Argentium Silver. It is so brilliant!
Argentium sterling silver is a new, more beautiful version of sterling silver. Argentium is purer than traditional sterling silver, as it contains more fine silver, and has replaced some of the copper in the traditional alloy with metalloid germanium. Argentium silver is brighter and whiter than platinum, white gold, or traditional sterling. Argentium is simple, clean and resistant to tarnish.

Designs inspired by Mother Nature
It is my intention to reflect the beauty I find in nature. I am inspired by the aesthetic details and precision designs of plants, trees, and natural objects. My jewelry is made with seeds, stones, gems, and shells, all created by mother nature. My hope is that this natural beauty will compliment and illuminate your own natural beauty.
Amber and Argentium Silver
Amber is the fossilized resin of ancient trees. It has been sought after since the stone age for its brilliant golden color and light-reflecting property. It ranges in age from 30-90 millions years! It is known to heal the body by absorbing negative energies and drawing out disease. It is also used to combat headaches and bad dreams.
Cowrie Shells and Argentium Silver
Cowrie shells were used for centuries as currency in Africa, India, and China. They have been traded around the world among many peoples. These shells are used ceremonially in many cultures. They represent fertility, womanhood, and wealth.
Beach Glass and Argentium Silver
Fabled to be the tears of Mermaids, Beach Glass is broken glass that has been carelessly thrown into the ocean. Over the years, it has been recycled by the sea, tumbled in the sand and surf until it is smooth like a jewel. Beach glass has a beautiful luminescence and each piece has its unique shape and story.
